Product/Insights
The money, the audience, the content, the world
The panel for management and the newsroom: which article made money, what the audience did, what was published, what the world is writing about – and the orders to VOR. One page each, with the same numbers as Studio.
Home
The most important, on one page
Today's money against the daily goal, the revenue leak, today's users, the content, what is waiting for you, alarms and health, the world outside. The menu is the whole panel in four groups – Money, Audience, Content, The world – and To do.
The daily goal
Commission today against the goal you set, per network, with the forecast for display and native beside the read affiliate figures.
The revenue leak
Commission that arrives without an article id – money that cannot be tied to a story. Followed per month; the scoreboard of the archive rewrite.
What is waiting
Orders ready for review, drafts waiting for a yes, translations missing, alarms – the same queue as Studio, so nothing lives in a separate tool.
Periods
Today, yesterday, 7, 14, 30, 90 days, this year – the same periods on every page and the same figures as Studio's overview and the connections.
Reload
Every figure says when it was counted. Reload fetches everything again – never a stale tab.
Two interface languages
The panel switches language with one button; the choice is remembered per browser.
Money
Outbound traffic, articles, stores, programs
Outbound traffic
Clicks and commission per network and day. Affiliate is read from the networks; display and native are forecasts.
Article revenue
Which texts pay off. Every buy link carries the article's id, so commission lands on the story – per article, per network, per day.
Stores
Which stores sell, from which articles, at what EPC.
Programs
Every affiliate program you have access to, per network and status, with EPC – search by store or category and apply where it pays. Fetch now forces a new fetch from the networks.
The link guard
Every hour twenty published pages are fetched over the open web and every buy link is decoded as a browser does it: broken right now, works but without article id, not responding – with the revenue at stake per page. Fix in the editor and republish; never unpublished for a broken link.
Campaigns
The networks' running campaigns per section, as material for shopping edits – order one with 10–30 items in a click.
Orders and suggestions
Say what you want done – and see it come back
The order queue
Everything VOR is working on: what awaits your review, open orders, done. Every row has your order, the reply, a preview (an ordinary page you can send to anyone) and Approve/Dismiss. Approve makes a draft; publishing needs a person with the right.
Suggestions
No headline is invented. Every suggestion rests on what readers searched for, what other newsrooms published in the last week, which campaigns are running and which stores you are approved with – business opportunities, editorial ideas, Google Trends, campaigns.
The day's first draft
Ready before the newsroom arrives – Read and edit, Preview, Publish now or Schedule.
Alarms as orders
Alarms are placed as urgent orders with the measurement, the cause and the action – the same queue, so no alarm disappears into a separate tool.
Publishing
What was published per day and section, and what the whole archive looks like year by year. A base schedule – one article every full hour, for instance – shows the days that fell short.
Drafts, tags, people, the dictionary
Everything waiting; the tags and what they give; who wrote what; the site's own words and how they are spelled.
The world
Over a hundred sources, read around the clock
The trend watch
What other newsrooms publish, country by country, and which sources are healthy. Domestic and international.
The morning brief
Sums up the night: what happened, what others wrote, what is worth following.
Google Trends
What the world is googling right now, judged against your own topics – never written, older than a week, covered this week.
Searches
The twenty most searched terms on your own site, the words, searches per day, from search to article – and the keywords without hits.
Best ideas
The highest-scoring suggestions, on the overview in Studio, ready to be ordered.
The evening report
Every evening to management: commission from every network, revenue per article, traffic, most read, what was published, the day's alarms and what was fixed.
