This page explains what happens to personal data on vorapi.com – in plain words, and only about things that actually happen here. If something is unclear, write to us; we answer personally.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed on this website is VOR Media Technologies.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, vorapi.com. The VOR suite – VOR Studio, Insights, Analytics, Chat, Monitoring and the API – is provided to publishers under a separate agreement. The processing of a publisher's data, and of its readers' data, is governed by that agreement and its data-processing terms, not by this page.
3. What we process, why, and for how long
Demo requests
When you send the form on this site, we store your name, your work email, your company or publication and the message you write, together with the time of the request. We use this to answer you, to prepare the demo and to send you a written proposal.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in following up on a request you made (Article 6(1)(f)).
Where it goes: the request is stored in our own database and sent as an email notification to the people at VOR who answer demo requests. It is not used for newsletters or advertising, and it is never sold or shared for others' marketing.
How long: 24 months after our last contact with you, or for the duration of the agreement if one follows – whichever is longer. You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
Protection against abuse
With each request we store a one-way hash of your IP address. It is used only to limit the number of requests from one address per hour, it cannot be turned back into the address, and it is kept as long as the request itself. A hidden field in the form catches automated submissions; nothing you type is affected.
Reading the site
Page views on vorapi.com are counted in aggregate on the network that delivers the page – no cookie, no identifier, no profile of you. Our hosting provider processes the technical data every website needs in order to deliver a page and protect it against attacks: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. That data is kept in the provider's short-lived operational logs and is not used by us to identify visitors.
In addition, a small script on each page sends us one anonymous record per page read when you leave it: the page, the language version, how long the page was visible, how far you scrolled, the size class of your screen (phone, tablet or desktop), the domain you came from, and whether you switched language, searched, shared or clicked the demo button. The record carries no cookie, no identifier and no IP address, nothing is stored in your browser, and no record can be linked to a person or to another record. We use these figures only in aggregate to see which pages and languages are read and how the site can be improved.
Cookies and third parties
vorapi.com sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts, images and scripts are served from vorapi.com itself, so reading a page sends no request to a third party. A sign-in cookie exists only for our own staff previewing unreleased pages.
If you write to us by email, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and to document what was agreed.
4. Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers, bound by data-processing agreements, to run this site. They act only on our instructions.

No data from this website is sent to AI providers, advertising networks or social platforms.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy (access and portability);
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Write to contact@vorapi.com. We answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in France the CNIL (cnil.fr), or the authority in the country where you live or work.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Demo requests are stored in a database that only the people who answer them can read, behind individual sign-ins, and every release of the site is built from a version-controlled repository so that changes are traceable.
7. Children
vorapi.com is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
When we change this page we update the version and date at the top. Changes that affect what we do with your data are announced here before they take effect.
